Immunogen Synthetic peptide: AAAALLGGEEI, corresponding to C terminal amino acids 340-350 of 350 aa isoform DKK3.
Isotype IgG
Specificity This antibody is expected to recognise the 350 aa isoform only.
Purification IgG fraction. Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide..
Alternative Name Dickkopf-3 (DKK3)
Background This gene encodes a protein that is a member of the dickkopf family. The secreted protein contains two cysteine rich regions and is involved in embryonic development through its interactions with the Wnt signaling pathway. The expression of this gene is decreased in a variety of cancer cell lines and it may function as a tumor suppressor gene. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein. [provided by RefSeq]
Synonyms: Q9UBP4, REIC, 605416, DKK3, 27122
Application Notes Western Blot-Heterogeneous bands between 45-65 kDa seen in 293 lysate. Recommended for use at 1.0-3.0ug/ml.
