Background CLOCK, a basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH)/PAS protein, is an important factor in themolecular clock mechanism. Mutations in this protein lead to abnormal circadianbehavior and defective transcriptional activity. CLOCK has been shown to interactstrongly with other bHLH-PAS proteins such as MOP3, a BMAL1 isoform. Alternate Names: anti-KIAA0334 antibody, anti-KAT13D antibody, anti-ChIp Grade antibody, anti KAT13D/ CLOCK antibody.

Application Notes This CLOCK antibody is useful for Western blot and Chromatin Immunoprecipitation. It has been tested against bacterially expressed fragment of CLOCK expressed in BL21 cells or the full length protein expressed in an in vitro translation system (reticulocyte lysate).
Recommended dilutions: Chromatin Immunoprecipitation 1:10-1:500, Western Blot 1:1000
