Additional Information
| Alternative name | Aurora kinase |
| Gene ID | 9212, 20877, 114592 |
| Immunogen | Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1-19 of human Aurora B. |
| Cross-Reactivity | Hamster, Human, Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus) |
| Description | Chromosomal segregation during mitosis as well as meiosis is regulated by kinases andphosphatases. The Aurora kinases associate with microtubules during chromosomemovement and segregation. Aurora kinase B localizes to microtubules nearkinetochores, specifically to the specialized microtubules called K-fibers, and Aurorakinase A localizes to centrosomes. Alternate Names: anti-AIK2 antibody, anti-AIM1 antibody, anti-ARK2 antibody, anti-AURKB antibody,anti-Aurora 1 antibody, anti-Aurora kinase B antibody, anti-Aurora- and Ipl1-likemidbody-associated protein 1 antibody, anti-Aurora-related kinase 2 antibody,anti-Aurora/IPL1 related kinase 2 antibody, anti-IPL1 antibody. |
| Specificity | Species Reactivity: Human, mouse, and rat. Not yet tested in other species. |
