Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1-19 of human Aurora B.
Specificity Species Reactivity: Human, mouse, and rat. Not yet tested in other species.
Cross-Reactivity Hamster, Human, Mouse (Murine), Rat (Rattus)
Purification Purified
Alternative Name Aurora kinase
Background Chromosomal segregation during mitosis as well as meiosis is regulated by kinases andphosphatases. The Aurora kinases associate with microtubules during chromosomemovement and segregation. Aurora kinase B localizes to microtubules nearkinetochores, specifically to the specialized microtubules called K-fibers, and Aurorakinase A localizes to centrosomes. Alternate Names: anti-AIK2 antibody, anti-AIM1 antibody, anti-ARK2 antibody, anti-AURKB antibody,anti-Aurora 1 antibody, anti-Aurora kinase B antibody, anti-Aurora- and Ipl1-likemidbody-associated protein 1 antibody, anti-Aurora-related kinase 2 antibody,anti-Aurora/IPL1 related kinase 2 antibody, anti-IPL1 antibody.
Gene ID 9212, 20877, 114592
