Alternative Name ATR / FRP1 (ATR Antibody Abstract)
Background Ataxia Telangiectasia Mutated (ATM) and Rad3- related (ATR) protein is a member ofthe phosphatidyl-inositol 3-kinase (PI 3-kinase) like family of protein kinases. ATR has apredictedmolecular mass of approximately 301 kDa, and it has been shown to be involved incellular responses to DNA damage. Specifically, it plays a role in checkpoint activationin response to either the presence of stalled replication forks, or by the presence oflesions caused by UV light. Inactivation of ATR is an embryonic lethal event in mice. Alternate Names: anti-Ataxia Telangiecasia and Rad3 Related antibody, anti-FRAP Related Protein 1antibody, anti-FRP 1 antibody, anti-Human JTV 1 antibody, anti-protein kinase ATRantibody, anti-Rad3 related protein antibody, anti-SCKL antibody, anti-SCKL1 antibody,anti-Seckel syndrome antibody.
