| Description | Mre11 is an 80 kDa protein that acts as a Mn+2 dependent double stranded DNA 3'-5'exonuclease and a single stranded DNA endonuclease. It is part of a larger complexwith Rad50, p95 (nibrin) and possibly other associated proteins involved in the nuclelyticend-processing of double strand breaks and telomere maintenance. Alternate Names: anti-Ataxia-telangiectasia disorder-like antibody, anti-ATLD antibody, anti-MRE11aantibody, anti-MRE11b antibody. |
| Specificity | Species Reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species. |
