Additional Information

Alternative name XPC / XPCC
Gene ID 7508
Immunogen Recombinant full length human XPC protein expressed in E. coli.
Isotype IgG
Clone 3-26
Description Human XPC (Xeroderma pigmentosum group C) is a member of a family of proteins thathas been shown to be involved in the repair of DNA via the nucleotide excision repair(NER) pathway. Specifically, XPC is believed to be a part of a heteromeric proteincomplex that is involved in the recognition of the DNA lesions during global genomicrepair but not transcription-coupled repair. Alternate Names: anti-DNA repair protein complementing XPC cells antibody, anti-p125 antibody,anti-Xeroderma pigmentosum group C complementing protein antibody, anti-Xerodermapigmentosum group III antibody, anti-XP group C antibody, anti-XP3 antibody, anti-XPCgene antibody, anti-XPCC antibody.
Specificity Species Reactivity: Cross-reacts with Human. Not yet tested in other species. Localization: Nuclear.
