Description
|
Fanconi anemia (FANC) is a human autosomal-recessive cancer susceptibility disordercharacterized by congenital defects, progressive bone marrow failure, and cellularhypersensitivity to mitomycin C (MMC). The FANC subunit D2 protein is vital for cellularresistance to DNA cross-linking and the arrest of DNA synthesis after ionizing radiation.DNA damage activates the monoubiquitination of FANCD2, targeting nuclear focicontaining the BRCA1 protein. Alternate Names: anti-FA4 antibody, anti-FACD antibody, anti-FAD antibody, anti-FAD2 antibody,anti-FANCD antibody, anti-FANCONI ANEMIA COMPLEMENTATION GROUP Dantibody, anti-FANCONI PANCYTOPENIA TYPE 4 antibody, anti-phosphorylatedFANCD2 antibody, anti-phosphospecific FANCD2 antibody, anti-phosphorylatedFanconi anemia antibody.
