Immunogen Recombinant 6-His fusion protein encoding amino acids 1-153 of human ER-betaexpressed in E. coli.
Clone 14C8
Isotype IgG2b
Specificity This antibody is specific for Estrogen receptor-Beta. Species Reactivity: ABIN152350 reacts with human ER-beta.
Cross-Reactivity Human
Purification Purified
Alternative Name Estrogen receptor beta
Background The human ER-beta is a newly discovered estrogen receptor initially cloned andcharacterized from testis. The size and structure of ER-beta is very similar to ER-alphawith the ligand and DNA binding domains being highly conserved, while the aminoterminus which serves as their transactivation domains have diverged significantly.Similar in function to ER-alpha, ER-beta binds to estrogen with a high affinity andregulates estrogen specific gene activation through direct interaction with estrogenresponse elements (ERE',s). Alternate Names: anti-ER beta antibody.
Gene ID 2100
Application Notes Suggested working dilutions: immunohistochemistry 5 ug/ml,Positive Controls: Recombinant fusion protein.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Concentration 1 mg/ml
Buffer 10mM PBS, pH 7.4
Storage -20 °C
