Immunogen Fusion protein from the N-terminal region of rabbit renal NaCX
Clone 6H2
Isotype IgG2b
Specificity Specific for the ~120k and 160k Na+/Ca2+ exchanger 1 protein.
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Tested in Rabbit. Canine reactivity reported in scientific literature (PMID: 18025087).rat,reactivity reported in scientific literature (PMID: 22285480). Reactivity assumed based on sequence identity to a wide variety of mammalian species.
Purification Protein G purified
Alternative Name SLC8A1 / NCX1
Background The expression and protein levels of the Na(+)/Ca(2+) exchanger (NCX-1) vary duringheart development and in response to changes in thyroid hormone levels (1). Theexpression of the NCX-1 gene is two-fold higher in the hearts of fetal versus adult mice. In addition, NCX-1 mRNA and protein levels were upregulated in hypothyroidic hearts. In hyperthyroidic hearts this response was reversed, however. Alternate Names: Anti-CNC antibody, Anti-DKFZp779F0871 antibody, Anti-MGC119581 antibody,Anti-Na+/Ca2+ exchange protein 1 antibody, Anti-Na+/Ca2+ exchanger antibody,Anti-NCX 1 antibody, Anti-NCX antibody, Anti-SLC8A1 antibody, Anti-SLC8A1 proteinantibody, Anti-Sodium Calcium Exchanger antibody, Anti-Sodium/calcium exchanger 1antibody, Anti-Solute carrier family 8 member 1 antibody.
Gene Symbol: SLC8A1
Gene ID 6546, 20541, 29715
Application Notes NB300-127 is useful for Western blot and immunohistochemistry. Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence was reported in scientific literature (PMID 22285480). NOTE: One should see a band at ~120 kD in Western Blot. Some tissues have a form that also runs at ~160 kD.
Recommended dilutions: Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence 1:10-1:2000, Western Blot 1:1000
