Specificity Species Reactivity: Rat. Other species have not been tested. Localization: Growth cone.
Cross-Reactivity Rat (Rattus)
Purification Serum
Alternative Name CADM1 / SYNCAM
Background SynCAM is a brain-specific, immunoglobulin domain. It functions as a homophilic celladhesion molecule at the synapse. Full-length synCAM has been shown to inducesynaptic assembly. It has also been shown that synCAM, in conjunction with glutamatereceptors, can sufficiently create a functional postsynaptic response. Alternate Names: anti-immunoglobulin superfamily, member 4 antibody.
Gene ID 23705, 445438
NCBI Accession NP_0551482
Application Notes Suggested working dilutions: Western Blot 1:1,000. Positive Controls: Rat brain fractions
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Buffer Preservative: 0.02% sodium azide.
Preservative Sodium azide
Storage 4 °C
