Immunogen Rabbits were immunized with a synthetic peptide representing amino acid residues 95to 108 of RNA polymerase alpha subunit of simion virus 5 conjugated to KLH.
Specificity Antibody recognizes the V5 cleavage site. Species Reactivity: All Species.
Purification Aff - Purified
Alternative Name Pk (V5) Epitope Tag (GKPIPNPLLGLDST)
Background The V5 epitope tag is derived from a small epitope (Pk) present on the P and V proteinsof the paramyxovirus of simian virus 5 (SV5). The V5 tag is usually used with all 14amino acids (GKPIPNPLLGLDST), although it has also been used with a shorter 9amino acid sequence (IPNPLLGLD). Alternate Names: anti-GKPIPNPLLGLDST epitope tag antibody, anti-GKPIPNPLLGLDST tag antibody,anti-V5 epitope tag antibody.
