Immunogen Synthetic peptide from C-terminus of human cyclin D1 (within amino acids 250-295 of P24385 - UniProt).
Clone SP4
Isotype IgG
Specificity Cyclin D1 (SP4)
Cross-Reactivity (Details) Not yet tested in other species.
Purification Tissue culture supernatant
Alternative Name Cyclin D1 (CCND1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Cyclin D1 or PRAD-1 or bcl-1 is one of the key cell cycle regulators, and functions inassociation with cdk4 and / or cdk6 by phosphorylating the Rb protein. It is a putativeproto-oncogene overexpressed in a wide variety of human neoplasmsincluding mantle cell lymphomas (MCL). Alternate Names: Anti-B cell ccl/lymphoma 1 antibody, Anti-B cell leukemia 1 antibody, Anti-BCL1antibody, Anti-BCL1 oncogene antibody, Anti-CCND 1 antibody, Anti-CCND1 antibody,Anti-CCND1 protein antibody, Anti-CCND1/IGHG1 fusion gene antibody,Anti-D11S287E antibody, Anti-G1/S specific cyclin D1 antibody, Anti-Parathyroidadenomatosis 1 antibody, Anti-PRAD1 antibody, Anti-PRAD1 oncogene antibody,Anti-U21B31 antibody.
Gene Symbol: CCND1
Gene ID 595, 12443, 58919
Research Area Cancer, Cell Cycle
Pathways PI3K-Akt Signaling, Cell Division Cycle
Application Notes This antibody can be used in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin. For IHC, staining of formalin-fixed tissues is required by boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. In Western Blot, a 33kDa band is seen. *Optimal dilutions should be determined by the end user.Use in Immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence reported in scientific literature (PMID 24599075)
Recommended dilutions: Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence, Immunohistochemistry 1:10-1:500, Immunohistochemistry-Paraffin 1:100, Western Blot 1:100-1:2000
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Liquid
Preservative Sodium azide
Precaution of Use WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.
Handling Advice Do not freeze.
Storage 4 °C
