Additional Information

Immunogen C3H.SW mouse splenocytes
Isotype IgG2a, IgG2a kappa, kappa chain
Clone 28-08-2006
Description The 28-8-6 antibody reacts with the H-2K and H-2D MHC class I alloantigens expressed on nucleated cells from mice of the H-2K/H-2D haplotype. H-2K/H-2D is involved in antigen presentation to T cells expressing CD3/TCR and CD8 proteins. The 28-8-6 antibody cross-reacts with H-2D MHC class I alloantigen, but does not react with alloantigens of f, k, p, q, r, s haplotypes. Distribution: Nucleated cells of the H-2K/H-2D haplotype Function: Antigen presentation Synonyms: MHC class I Structure: MHC class I

Application Details

Application Notes Additional reported applications (for the relevant formats) include: complement-mediated cytotoxicity, and immunohistochemical staining of acetone-fixed frozen sections. Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 0.25 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl volume. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C. Do not freeze.
Restrictions For Research Use only
