Additional Information

Alternative name CD84
Immunogen Mouse CD84-Fc fusion protein
Isotype IgG
Clone MCD84-7
Description CD84 is a 64-82 kD glycoprotein. It is a member of the SLAM (CD150) family, a CD2 subset of the Ig superfamily, also known as SLAMF5 or Ly9b. CD84 is expressed on B cells, monocytes, thymocytes, subset of T cells, and platelets. CD84 functions as a homophilic adhesion molecule and enhances T cell activation and cytokine production. Distribution: B cells, monocytes, thymocytes, platelets, subset of T cells Function: Homophilic adhesion, T cell activation Synonyms: GR6, Ly9b, SLAMF5 Structure: 64-82 kD glycoprotein, SLAM family, CD2 subset of Ig superfamily

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 0.5 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography, and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions. The solution is free of unconjugated biotin.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C. Do not freeze.
Research Area CD Antigens
Restrictions For Research Use only
