Description CD344 is a member of the Frizzled family, known as Frizzled-4 (Fz4, FZD4, hFz4, or FzE4). Ten frizzled member have been identified in humans. Human FZD4 gene has been mapped to chromosome 11q14-q21. FZD4 is a 48-53 kD seven transmembrane G-protein-coupled receptor (GPCR), a receptor for Wnt proteins and norrie. It is involved in the activation of Wnt/beta-catenin pathway (canonic Wnt signaling). FZD4 is a neuronal stem cell marker and is also expressed on fetal neuronal progenitor cells and neuronal intestinal cells. Kidney, lung, brain and liver express abundant of FZD4. It has been reported that FZD4 controls retinal and inner ear angiogenesis, participates in the regulation of embryonic development, tissue and cell polarization and proliferation. Distribution: Kidney, lung, brain, liver, neuronal stem cells, fetal neuronal progenitor cells and neuronal intestinal cells Function: Embryonic development, tissue/cell polarization and proliferation Synonyms: Frizzled-4 receptor, Frizzled-4, Fz4, FZD4, FzE4, hFz4, FEVR, EVR1 Structure: Frizzled family, seven transmenbrane G-protein-coupled receptor, 48-53 kD

Application Details

Application Notes Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For immunofluorescent staining, the suggested use of this reagent is < 2.0 µg per 10 cells in 100 µl volume or 100 µl of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application.
Purification The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography.
Buffer Phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide.
Storage The antibody solution should be stored undiluted at 4°C.
Restrictions For Research Use only
