Description: 14-3-3 proteins are a family of small, widely expressed, highly conserved cytosolicproteins. 14-3-3 proteins bind to and influence the activities of a diverse group ofmolecules involved in signal transduction, cell cycle regulation and apoptosis, includingRaf, PKC, Bad, Cbl, and c-Bcr. Interactions between 14-3-3 and target proteins are stronglyinfluenced by the phosphorylation state of 14-3-3 and the target protein.

Application Details

Application Notes: Immunoprecipitation (denatured verified): use Protein G, antibody at 2 g/mg proteinlysate. Western Blotting: 1-2 ug/ml for 2 hrs at RT. Recommended positive control: HeLa cells. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Concentration: 0.2 mg/ml

Buffer: 10 mM PBS, pH 7.4, with 0.2 % BSA and 0.09 % sodium azide

Storage: Store the antibody at 2 - 8 °C up to one month or in aliquots at -20 °C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
