Description: Protein gene product 9. 5 is a ubiquitin C-termianl hydroxylase found in neurons and nervefibres of central and peripheral nervous system, many neuroendocrinal cells, segments ofrenal tubules, spermatogonia, leydig cells of testis, and ova. It is present in cellularinclusions and can be a useful as a neuronal marker and in the studies ofneurodegenerative disorders.

Application Details

Application Notes: Immunohistochemistry on Paraffin Sections: 1/10 for 60 min at RT, staining ofFormalin-Fixed tissues REQUIRES boiling tissue sections in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive Control: Small intestine. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Storage: Store the antibody undiluted at 2-8°C for one month or (in aliquots) at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
