Immunogen: A synthetic 11-mer peptide, corresponding to aa 2-12 (PEETQTQDQPM-Cys) from theN-terminus end of mouse Heat Shock Protein 90 alpha (HSP90 alpha).

Description: Cells respond to heat and chemical stress by inducing the synthesis of a group of proteinsreferred to as heat shock proteins. HSP90 is present in cells at high levels in the cytoplasmand is composed of two separate gene products, HSP90 alpha and HSP90 beta.

Specificity: This antibody weakly cross reacts with HSP90 beta (HSP84). Reacts with . CellularLocalization: Cytoplasmic, Nuclear. Molecular Weight: 86kDSpecies: Human, mouse and rat. Others not tested.

Application Details

Application Notes: Immunofluorescence. Immunoprecipitation (Native): use Protein A and Ab at 10 g/mgprotein lysate). Western blot (5-10 ug/ml). Immunohistochemistry on paraffin embeddedsections: 5-10 ug/ml, staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min,Recommended Positive control: MAD109 Cells or Breast Carcinoma). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

Concentration: 1.0 mg/ml

Buffer: 10mM PBS pH 7.4 with 0.09% sodium azide as preservative and 0.2% BSAas stabilizer.

Storage: Store the antibody at 4-8°C for one month or at -20°C for longer. Avoid repeated freezingand thawing. Shelf life: one year from despatch.
