Cellular Localization: nuclear. Mol. Wt. of Antigen: 36 kDa.
Purification Protein A affinity purified immunoglobulin fraction
Alternative Name Cyclin D1 (CCND1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Cyclin D1 or PRAD-1 or bcl-1 is one of the key cell cycle regulators, and functions in association with cdk4 and/or cdk6 by phosphorylating the Rb protein. It is a putative proto-oncogene overexpressed in a wide variety of human neoplasms including mantle cell lymphomas (MCL).Synonyms: BCL-1 oncogene, BCL1, CCND1, Cyclin-D1, G1/S-specific cyclin-D1, PRAD-1 oncogene, PRAD1
Molecular Weight 36kD.
Gene ID 595
NCBI Accession NP_444284
UniProt P24385
Research Area Cancer, Cell Cycle
Pathways PI3K-Akt Signaling, Cell Division Cycle
Application Notes Immunofluorescence. Immunoprecipitation: use Protein A and Ab at 10 g/mg proteinlysate. Western Blotting: Ab 5 μg/mL 2HR. RT. Recommended positive control: MAD109cells, Breast Carcinoma or Mantle Cell Lymphoma.
Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
