Background Flk-1/KDR/Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor Receptor 2, a cell membrane receptor kinase, is a high affinity receptor for vascular endothelial growth factor and is putatively involved in the growth of endothelial cells and angiogenesis. It contains seven immunoglobulin like sequences in the extracellular domain and exhibits sequence similarity to Flt-1 and Flt-4.

Application Notes Western Blotting: 5-10 µg/ml for 2h at RT. Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/Paraffin): Use VEGFR2 antibody at 1/50 for 60 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues Requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer,pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Positive Control: Hey Cells, Angiosarcoma. Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
