| Immunogen | Recombinant protein encoding human Cadherin-E 600-707 aaRemarks: Mol. Wt. of Antigen: 120 kDa |
| Description | Description: E-cadherin (uvomorulin, Cell-CAM120/80) is a calcium dependent celladhesion molecule expressed predominately in epithelial tissues. It plays an importantrole in the growth and development of cells via the mechanisms of control of tissuearchitecture and the maintenance of tissue integrity. Numerous studies havedemonstrated that reduction and/or loss of E-cadherin expression in carcinomascorrelates positively with the potential of these tumors for invasion and metastasis. |
| Specificity | This antibody detects Cadherin-E. Species: Human. Others not tested. Add. Information: Cellular Localization: Cell membrane |
