Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-PLRYNRQGGSRRQ, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_000788.2.
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name Dopamine receptor D4 / DRD4
Background Synonyms: DRD4, dopamine receptor D4, D4DR, D(2C) dopamine receptor, dopamine D4 receptor, seven transmembrane helix receptor
Gene ID 1815
NCBI Accession NP_000788
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 35 kDa band in Human Brain lysates after 0.1 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 43.9 kDa according to NP_000788.2. The 35 kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
