Immunogen Peptide with sequence C-NKTDSPSRKRDK, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_663731.1.
Blocking Peptide Blocking peptide for this product available: ABIN369477
Purification Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Alternative Name Lipin 1 (LPIN1 Antibody Abstract)
Background Synonyms: LPIN1, lipin 1, DKFZp781P1796, KIAA0188
Gene ID 23175, 14245
NCBI Accession NP_663731
Pathways
Application Notes ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments gave bands at approx 50 kDa and 26 kDa in Human Adipose lysates after 0.3 µg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the calculated size of 98.7 kDa according to NP_663731.1. Both detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide (and BLAST results with the immunizing peptide sequence did not identify any other proteins to explain the additional bands).
