Additional Information

Alternative name CA 19-9
Immunogen Human gastric cancer cells
Isotype IgG1
Clone KM231
Description Reacts with glycoproteins >1,000 kDa. Reacts strongly with an antigen found in cell membranes and cytoplasm of stomach, colon, breast, and ovarian cancers or lung adenocarcinoma. Reacts weakly with stomach mucosa, intestinal epithelial metaplasia of normal tissue, germ cell or coated epithelium of the colon, acinar cells of the pancreas, epithelium cells of pancreatic duct, gall duct epithelial cells of the liver, renal tubular epithelium of a part of the kidney, bronchus gland of the lung, and part of the bronchus. Does not react with fat, red blood cells nor connective tissues.
Specificity Reacts with glycoproteins >1,000 kDa. Reacts strongly with an antigen found in cell membranes and cytoplasm of stomach, colon, breast, and ovarian cancers or lung adenocarcinoma.
