Additional Information

Alternative name CD338 / ABCG2 / BCRP1
Immunogen A fusion protein containing a fragment of the mouse Bcrp protein corresponding to amino acids 221-394 and E. coli maltose-binding protein.
Format Supernatant
Isotype IgG2a  (Matching secondary antibodies)
Clone BXP-53
Specificity BXP-53 reacts with an internal epitope of Breast Cancer Resistance Protein (Bcrp, Abcg2), a 70 kDa transmembrane half-transporter which is involved in multidrug resistance. BXP-53 also reacts with the human BCRP molecule. Species Reactivity: Human and mouse. Others not tested.

Application Details

Application Notes Immunocytochemistry: Use at a 1:20-1:50 dilution on acetone-fixed cytospin preparations. Immunohistochemistry: Use at a 1:20 dilution on acetone-fixed frozen sections, followed by incubation with biotin-labeled rabbit anti-rat IgG and HRP-labeled streptavidin. Western blot: Use at a 1:20-1:50 dilution, followed by HRP-labeled anti-rat IgG. Flow cytometry: Optimal conditions still to be determined. The optimal dilution for a specific application should be determined by the researcher.
Buffer 1 mL (>200 tests) monoclonal antibody at ~250 µg IgG/mL in serum-free culture supernatant with protein stabilizer and 0.1% sodium azide.
Storage Store at 4 °C for short term. Aliquot and store at -20 °C for long term. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
