Description: CCN1 (CYR61) is an angiogenic factor and a member of the CCN protein family. CCN1 is anextracellular matrix-associated, heparin-binding protein that mediates cell adhesion,promotes cell migration, and enhances growth factor-stimulated cell proliferation. Increased expression of CCN1 is associated with several types of cancer, and correlateswith the progression and estrogen independence of human breast cancers.

Specificity: This antibody detects cysteine rich protein 61. Species: Human, Sheep and Rat. Others not tested.

Application Notes: Western blot: (1/500). Immunohistochemstry on Frozen and Paraffin Sections (1/500). Other applications not tested. Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.
