Description Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a growth factor active in angiogenesis,vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth. It induces endothelial cell proliferation,promotes cell migration, inhibits apoptosis, and induces permeabilization of bloodvessels.
