Specificity: This JARID2 antibody is useful for Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (staining is nuclear) and Western blot. By
Western blot a band is seen at ~140 kDa. Another band is seen >200 kDa and a faint band may be seen ~80 kDa. This
antibody has also been reported to work in Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), see PMID: 22396653.

Precaution of Use: WARNING: Reagents contain sodium azide. Sodium azide is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs, wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled, contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions. Dilute azide-containing compounds in running water before discarding to avoid accumulation of potentially explosive deposits in lead or copper plumbing.

Handling Advice: Repeated freeze/thaw cycles

Storage: -20 °C

Storage Comment: Store frozen. Aliquot as undiluted antisera and immediately place at -20°C. Antisera may have become trapped in top of vial during shipping. Centrifugation of vial is recommended before opening. Stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. Compromise the integrity of the antiserum.
