Specificity: This antibody is specific to a membrane glycoprotein of 45 KD, designated as CD23. CD23 is found on a subpopulation of peripheral blood cells, B lymphocytes and on EBV transformed B lymphoblastoid cell lines. Expression of CD23 has been detected in neoplastic cells from cases of B cell chronic lymphocytic leukemias.

Application Details

Application Notes: Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 60 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Cell membrane

Buffer: This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.
