Additional Information
| Alternative name | Ki-67 Antigen |
| Immunogen | Synthetic peptide from 62 base pair region of the human Ki-67 antigen. |
| Format | Liquid (prediluted) |
| Specificity | This antibody reacts with a nuclear antigen present in proliferating human cells. This antibody cross-reacts with a range of mammalian species. It can be used to evaluate the ki- 67 labeling index in various tumors. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Tonsil. Cellular localization: Nuclear |
| Concentration | 1 to 4 ug/ml |
| Buffer | This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections. No further titration is required. |
| Storage | Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label. |
| Restrictions | For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union |
