Additional Information

Alternative name Synaptophysin
Immunogen Synthetic human synaptophysin coupled to keyhole limpet hemocyanin.
Format Liquid (prediluted)
Specificity This antibody reacts with a hydrophilic peptide of 38 kD. The antibody stains neuroendocrine cells of adrenal medulla, carotid body, skin, pituitary gland, lung, and pancreas.

Application Details

Application Notes Staining Protocol: We suggest an incubation period of 30 minutes at room temperature. However, depending upon the fixation conditions and the staining system employed, optimal incubation conditions should be determined by the user. Formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue sections require high temperature antigen unmasking with 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 prior to immunostaining. Positive Control: Pancreas. Cellular localization: Cytoplasmic
Concentration 1 to 4 ug/ml
Buffer This antibody has been pretitered and quality controlled to work on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded as well as acetone fixed cryostat tissue sections. No further titration is required.
Storage Store the antibody at 2-8o c. Do not use it beyond the expiration date stated on the label.
Restrictions For Research Use. CE-certified for In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) Use in the European Union
