    Background

    Synonyms: FLJ20124, FLJ20383, MGC163154, PC LKC,PC-LKC, Protocadherin LKC.

Background: PCLKC (Protocadherin LKC) belongs to the protocadherin gene family, a subgroup of the cadherin superfamily. It is predominantly expressed in liver, kidney and colon tissues, and has a role in contact inhibition at the lateral surface of epithelial cells. It is a candidate tumor suppressor.
