Specificity

Recognizes all three genera of Chlamydia HSP60 with minimal cross-reactivity with Borrelia burgdorferi HSP60. Detects a band of ~60kD by Western blot. Epitope mapping studies suggest binding of aa 517-522. Does not cross-react with E. coli GroEL or human HSP60.
