Immunogen 8-hydroxyguanosine (oh8G)-BSA and -casein conjugates
Clone 15A3
Isotype IgG2b
Specificity Recognizes 8-hydroxy-2'-deoxyguanosine (oh8dG), 8-hydroxyguanine (oh8G), and 8-hydroxyguanosine (oh8G). These are markers of oxidative damage to DNA and RNA.
Characteristics MAb to 8-Hydroxyguanosine, Monoclonal antibody to 8-Hydroxyguanosine
Purification Protein G Chromatography. Ascites
Alternative Name 8-Hydroxyguanosine
Target Type Chemical
Application Notes Suitable for use in ELISA and immunohistochemistry (PLP-fixed sections) to detect the markers of oxidative damage to DNA and RNA. May also be used on immunoaffinity columns to isolate oxidative DNA damage adducts from biological fluids. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
