Clone 67A4
Isotype IgG1
Specificity E-Cadherin (also called cell CAM 120/180 or L-CAM) is a 123 kDa molecule of the cadherin family which mediates Ca2+ dependent homotypic adhesion between epithelial cells. (1,2). Recognizes E-cadherin expressed on non-neuronal epithelial cells
Characteristics MAb to E-Cadherin, Monoclonal antibody to E-Cadherin
Purification Ascites
Alternative Name E-Cadherin (CDH1 Antibody Abstract)
Application Notes Immunoprecipitaion Immunohistochemistry Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Restrictions For Research Use only
Format Lyophilized
Reconstitution Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water.
Buffer Lyophilized from PBS with 1 mg/mL BSA.
Preservative Without preservative
Handling Advice Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. The addition of 0.1 % (w/v) sodium azide is recommended for storage of the Reconstituted product for up to one month at 2-8 °C.
Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Prepare working dilution only prior to immediate use.
Storage 4 °C/-20 °C
Storage Comment Store lyophilized product at 2-8 °C. After reconstitution, aliquot and store at -28 °C.
