| Description | MAb to M-Cadherin Monoclonal Antibody to Human M-Cadherin (extracellular domain) |
| Specificity | Cadherins are a family of transmembrane glycoproteins that play a key role in Calcium dependent cell-cell adhesion. Several members of the cadherin family have been identified so far, including E- (epithelial), P- (placental), N- (neuronal) and M- (muscle) cadherin. M-Cadherin is expressed in myoblasts and might be involved in skeletal muscle cell differentiation. Does not cross-react with mouse. |
Application Details
| Application Notes | Immunoblotting: 1ug/ml for AP/BCIP/NBT (MTT) detection, 0.5ug/ml for HRP/ECL detection. Western blot Analysis Whole cell lysates (lane 1: COS-7, lane 2: human M-cadherin overexpressed in COS-7 cells) were applied to SDS-PAGE and transferred to PVDF membrane. The blot was probed with 0.5?g/ml H67214M for 1 hour at RT and developed by ECL (exp. Time: 30 sec). ELISA: 0.05ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 5ug/ml Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded. |
