Description MAb to M-Cadherin Monoclonal Antibody to Human M-Cadherin (extracellular domain)
Specificity Cadherins are a family of transmembrane glycoproteins that play a key role in Calcium dependent cell-cell adhesion. Several members of the cadherin family have been identified so far, including E- (epithelial), P- (placental), N- (neuronal) and M- (muscle) cadherin. M-Cadherin is expressed in myoblasts and might be involved in skeletal muscle cell differentiation. Does not cross-react with mouse.

Application Details

Application Notes Immunoblotting: 1ug/ml for AP/BCIP/NBT (MTT) detection, 0.5ug/ml for HRP/ECL detection. Western blot Analysis Whole cell lysates (lane 1: COS-7, lane 2: human M-cadherin overexpressed in COS-7 cells) were applied to SDS-PAGE and transferred to PVDF membrane. The blot was probed with 0.5?g/ml H67214M for 1 hour at RT and developed by ECL (exp. Time: 30 sec). ELISA: 0.05ug/ml Immunofluorescence: 5ug/ml Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Concentration 100ug/ml (prior to lyophilization)
Purification Thiophilic adsorption and size exclusion chromatography. Source: Cell culture
Buffer Lyophilized from 2X PBS, PEG and Sucrose. Preservative: 0.09% Sodium azide
