|Specificity||Reacts with the epsilon chain of the CD3 complex.(5) CD3 is associated with the T cell receptor (TcR) on T lymphocytes and is involved in the recognition of peptides bound to the major histocompatibility complex (MHC) during the immune response.(2) The CD3 antigen is expressed by mature T lymphocytes and by a subset of thymocytes.(1, 3)|
|Application Notes||Studies of CD3 expressing lymphocytes and intracellular studies of the CD3 epsilon chain. Flow cytometry: 20ul/5x105 cells or 100ul of whole blood. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.|
