Description
MAb to PAP Monoclonal Antibody to Prostatic Acid Phosphatase (PAP) Culture Supernatant
Specificity
Reactive with prostatic-specific acid phosphatase. Recognizes benign and malignant prostatic epithelium. In some cases pancreatic islet cells, carcinomas of the bladder and carcinoids may also be stained. Reacts with a 52kD protein.
Application Notes
Suitable for use in immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin sections, no protease pre-treatment required-dilute 1:10-1:20). Dilute immediately before use with PBS or TBS. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
