Additional Information

Immunogen Recombinant Hssh3bp1 (human spectrin SH3 domain binding protein 1)
Format Liquid
Isotype IgG2b
Clone 4E2
Description MAb to Spectrin Binding Protein Monoclonal Antibody to Spectrin Binding Protein, SH3 domain Hssh3bp1
Specificity Cross-reacts with Human, rat and mouse. This antibody was developed against the spectrin SH3 domain binding protein Hssh3bp1(3). Hssh3bp1 is a marker of macropinocytic vesicles and a potential regulator of macropinocytosis.(2) The gene encoding Hssh3bp1 has a role as a tumor suppressor gene which is inactivated during prostate tumorigenesis.(1)

Application Details

Application Notes Western blot (1:1,000 ? 1:2,000) Immunofluorescence (1:100 ? 1:500) Immunohistochemistry (1:40 ? 1:100) Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections and frozen sections. For optimal staining, sections should be pre-treated for antigen unmasking. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Concentration 1mg/ml
Purification Protein A chromatography
Buffer PBS.
Storage Store at -20°C. Aliquot to avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
