Specificity This antibody was developed against the spectrin SH3 domain binding protein Hssh3bp1. Hssh3bp1 is a marker of macropinocytic vesicles and a potential regulator of macropinocytosis.(2) The gene encoding Hssh3bp1 has a role as a tumor suppressor gene which is inactivated during prostate tumorigenesis.

Application Notes Western blot (1:1.000 - 1:2.000) Immunofluorescence (1:100 - 1:500) Immunohistochemistry (1:40 - 1:100) Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections and frozen sections. For optimal staining, sections should be pre-treated for antigen unmasking. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.
