Immunogen Recombinant alpha II spectrin (non-erythroid spectrin or fodrin) SH3 domain.
Clone D8B7
Isotype IgG2b
Cross-Reactivity (Details) This antibody was developed against the alpha II spectrin SH3 domain.(1) Specific marker for human, rat and mouse alpha II spectrin or fodrin. In cerebellar cell cultures, it labels axons and periphery of cell bodies consistent with localization of fodrin.(3,5,7) Does not cross-react with alpha I (erythroid) spectrin SH3 domain.
Characteristics MAb to Alpha-II Spectrin (non-erythroid), Monoclonal antibody to Human Spectrin, alpha-II SH3 domain (non-erythroid) (fodrin)
Purification HPLC Purified. Ascites
Application Notes ELISA (1:100.000 - 1:1.000,000) Western blot (1:100 - 1:1.000) Immunofluorescence (1:100 - 1:500) Immunohistochemistry (1:10 - 1:50) Frozen sections (paraffin-embedded sections have not been tested) Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
