Application Details

Application Notes Assayed against 1.0ug of Alcohol Dehydrogenase in an standard ELISA using ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A dilution range of 1:20,000 to 1:100,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded. Reconstitution: Reconstitute with 2.0ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
Concentration 10mg/ml (OD280nm) (prior to lyophilization)
Purification Delipidation, salt fractionation and ion-exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer.
Buffer Lyophilized from 0.02M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 containing 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free). Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate
Storage Store lyophilized product at 2-8°C. After reconstitution, product is stable for several weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution only prior to immediate use. For extended storage, add glycerol to 50%, then aliquot and store at –20°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of reconstitution.
