Additional Information

Alternative name Caspase-9
Immunogen Peptide corresponding to amino acids 299-318 of human caspase-9
Format Liquid
Description Rabbit anti Caspase-9 (I20) (Intermed. Domain 2) Rabbit Antibody to Caspase-9 (I20), Intermediate Domain 2
Specificity Reacts with human caspase-9 and has no cross-reactivity with other members of the caspase family. Also known as Mch6/Apaf (IN2). Caspase-9 play a central role in cell death induced by a wide variety of apoptosis activators including TNF-alpha, TRAIL, anti-CD-95, FADD and TRADD. (4) Caspase-9 is expressed in a variety of human tissues. (1, 2)

Application Details

Application Notes Suitable for use in immunohistochemistry (2ug/ml) and Western blot (1:1,000-1:2,000). Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Concentration 0.5mg/ml
Purification Immunoaffinity chromatography
Buffer PBS. Preservative: 0.02% Sodium azide
Storage Store (up to one year) at 2-8°C. : This product contains sodium azide, which has been classified as Xn (Harmful), in European Directive 67/548/EEC in the concentration range of 0.1-1.0%. When disposing of this reagent through lead or copper plumbing, flush with copious volumes of water to prevent azide build-up in drains.
