Specificity
|
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit Serum as well as purified and partially purified Elastase (Porcine Pancreas). Cross reactivity against Elastase from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.

Application Notes
|
Assayed against 1.0ug of Elastase [Porcine Pancreas] in a standard ELISA using Peroxidase conjugated affinity purified Goat anti Rabbit IgG [H&L] and ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000-1:5,400 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

Store lyophilized product at 2-8°C. After reconstitution, product is stable for several weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution only prior to immediate use. For extended storage, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of reconstitution.Reconstitute with 5ml deionized water or equivalent. Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
