Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to 14 AA in the middle region of the Hemagglutinin protein (Genbank accession no. AAT76166)
Specificity Hemagglutinin protein from the H5N1 strain of avian influenza (Middle Region)
Characteristics Rabbit anti Influenza A H5N1, Rabbit antibody to Influenza A H5N1 Hemagglutinin (Middle Region)
Application Notes Suitable for use in blocking the activity of the anti-avian influenza A (H5N1) Hemagglutinin antibody. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in ELISA assays by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30 minutes at 37°C. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
