Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to 16 AA near the amino terminus of human IL-23 (Genbank accession No. AAH66268)
Specificity Reacts with the N-terminal of human and mouse IL-23. IL-23 is a recently discovered member of the IL-6/IL-12 family of proinflammatory and immunoregulatory cytokines(1). It exists as a heterodimer composed of the IL-12p40 subunit and a novel p19 subunit(2). IL-23 is secreted by activated dendritic cells, macrophages, and monocytes.
Characteristics Rabbit anti IL-23 (NT) p19, Rabbit antibody to Human Interleukin 23 (IL-23) N-terminal (p19)
Purification Immuno Affinity Chromatography
Alternative Name Interleukin 23 (IL-23) (p19)
Application Notes Suitable for use in Western blot (1-2 µg/mL). Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
