Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to 13 AA near the center of human PAK6 (Genbank accession No. NP_064553)
Specificity Reacts to the middle region of human PAK6. The p21-activated kinases (PAKs) are serine-threonine kinases that bind to the active forms of Cdc42 and Rac (1). PAK6 proteins are not activated by Cdc42/Rac binding. PAK6 has been shown to be activated by MAP kinase kinase 6, and p38 MAP kinase (3), suggesting that PAK6 may play a role in the cellular response to stress-related signals.
Characteristics Rabbit anti PAK6, Rabbit antibody to Human p21-Activated Kinase 6 (PAK6), Middle Region
Purification Immuno Affinity Chromatography
Application Notes Suitable for use in Western blot (1-2 µg/mL). Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
