Additional Information

Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to 13 amino acids near the center of human PAK6 (Genbank accession No. NP_064553)
Format Liquid
Description Rabbit anti PAK6 Rabbit Antibody to Human p21-Activated Kinase 6 (PAK6), Middle Region
Specificity Reacts to the middle region of human PAK6. The p21-activated kinases (PAKs) are serine-threonine kinases that bind to the active forms of Cdc42 and Rac (1). PAK6 proteins are not activated by Cdc42/Rac binding. PAK6 has been shown to be activated by MAP kinase kinase 6, and p38 MAP kinase (3), suggesting that PAK6 may play a role in the cellular response to stress-related signals.

Application Details

Application Notes Suitable for use in Western blot (1?2ug/ml). Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Concentration Lot specific
Purification Immunoaffinity chromatography
Buffer PBS. Preservative: 0.02% Sodium azide
Storage Store (up to 1 year) at 2-8(C. : This product contains sodium azide, which has been classified as Xn (Harmful), in European Directive 67/548/EEC in the concentration range of 0.1-1.0%. When disposing of this reagent through lead or copper plumbing, flush with copious volumes of water to prevent azide build-up in drains.
