Description
Goat A’ Pepsin (Pig Stomach) Goat Antibody to Pepsin (Pig Stomach)
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum as well as purified and partially purified Pepsin (Porcine Stomach). Cross reactivity against Pepsin from other tissues and species may occur but have not been specifically determined.
Application Notes
Suitable for use in ELISA (1:50,000-1:200,000), Western blot (1:5,000-1:20,000) and immunohistochemistry (1:2,000-1: 10,000) Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
Concentration
10mg/ml (OD280nm) (prior to lyophilization)
Purification
Delipidation, salt fractionation and ion-exchange chromatography followed by extensive dialysis against the buffer.
Buffer
Lyophilized from 0.02M Potassium phosphate, 0.15M Sodium chloride, pH 7.2. Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Sodium azide
Storage
Store lyophilized product at 2-8°C. After reconstitution, product is stable for several weeks at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution only prior to immediate use. For extended storage after reconstitution, aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of reconstitution.
