Description
Rabbit anti PEP Carboxylase Rabbit Antibody to Phospho-enol-Pyruvate (PEP) Carboxylase (Maize) Horseradish Peroxidase conjugated
Specificity
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Rabbit serum, anti-Peroxidase and purified and partially Phospho-enol-Pyruvate Carboxylase. Some cross reactivity between PEP Carboxylases of other species and tissues may occur.
Application Notes
Assayed against 1ug of Phospho-enol-Pyruvate Carboxylase in a standard ELISA using ABTS as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,000 to 1:6,000 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.

10mg/ml (OD280nm) (prior to lyophilization)
Purification
Delipidation, salt fractionation and ion exchange chromatography.
Buffer
Lyophilized from 0.02M Potassium Phosphate, 0.15M Sodium Chloride, pH 7.2 containing 10mg/ml BSA. Preservative: 0.01% (w/v) Gentamicin Sulfate

Storage
Store lyophilized product at 2-8°C. After reconstitution, this product is stable for several weeks when stored at 2-8°C as an undiluted liquid. Prepare working dilution only prior to immediate use. For extended storage, reconstitute product with 50% glycerol instead of water and then aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Expiration date is one year from date of reconstitution.Reconstitute with 2ml of deionized water (or equivalent). Centrifuge product if not completely clear after standing at room temperature.
