Specificity: Reacts with the N-terminal of the M protein of SARS-associated coronavirus. The M protein (Membrane protein, Matrix protein) is one of the major structural viral proteins. It is an integral membrane protein involved in the budding of the viral particles.

Application Details

Application Notes: Suitable for use in ELISA. It will detect 10ng of free peptide at 1ug/ml. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
