Immunogen A synthetic peptide corresponding to AA 152-163 of human SKP1 (C-terminus) coupled to KLH. Sequence: QVRKENQWCEEK
Specificity Reacts with Human SKP1. Cross reactivity with other SKP1 proteins or SKP1 from other sources is not known.
Characteristics Rabbit anti SKP1 (AA 152-163), Rabbit antibody to S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 1A (SKP1) (AA 152-163)
Purification Neat antiserum delipidation and defibrination.
Sterility Sterile filtered
Alternative Name S-phase Kinase-associated Protein 1A (SKP1)
Application Notes Suitable for use in ELISA (1:2.000 - 1:10.000) and Western blot (1:500 - 1:1.000). The antibody immunoprecipitates in vitro translated protein and protein from cell lysates (using HeLa, NIH-3T3 and others). Coimmunoprecipitation of cyclin A and Cuol1 may occur. An 18.5 kDa band corresponding to human SKP1 is detected. Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application. Other applications have not been tested but use in such assays should not necessarily be excluded.
